Reference: USBC 170-12
Brewery: Iroquois Beverage Corp., Buffalo, New York
Manufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1950s
Canning Code: n/a
Contents/Type: 12 oz
Condition/Comments: Features a Native American Iroquios "Indian" Chief in full feathered headdress. Almost always seen with major spotting and faded red, this example has but a few spots, the metallic gleams and the red is deep and bright. The white is bright, clear, smooth and like new, rare for this can. The red is bright, clear and as if just off the factory line, also rare for this can. Also note the strong colors in the headdress. The colors are so strong on this can because it once was a paint-over, as is evidenced by slight remnants of paint where the rims meet the body of the can. Spout and outer edge of bottom rim nicely repainted. There are a few ripples/dings and scratches as seen in photos. Rare to find this clean. Great crown. See photos or inspect lots in Brimfield, MA or at NABA in Milwaukee for primary assessment of condition. For more info or questions regarding this lot contact Dan via email.
