Comments:  While this tray from Lion takes a more traditional form, it is certainly no less rare. And instead of the Lion trade mark playing second fiddle to a larger illustration as on the previous lot, this tray features the trade mark as its focal point, elevating it to an impressive, full-blown illustration. There is some paint oxidation in the center and some moderate rim chipping, but these hardly detract from the tray’s powerful visual impact.
