Condition/Comments: The tray depicts an artist rendering of the Peter factory perched up on the banks of the Hudson, just across the river from Manhattan. The double triangle star toward bottom was known as the Brewers Star, with each point of the star representing the six aspects of brewing most critical to purity: the water, the hops, the grain, the malt, the yeast, and the brewer. Nice early oval WM Peter factory scene beer tray, just after prohibition. Very nice condition. Has a few small surface marks and scratches, and a little minor oxidation below the word style. Maker's mark located bottom center reads Electro-Chemical Engraving Co., Inc., New York, N.Y. A little under 17 x 14 inches.
