Condition/Comments: Ultra RARE 1930s New York flat top! Very appealing graphic and colorful Deco design. This example appears to be somehow bleached, not faded, or is possibly a factory misprint. The texture of the green and red paint is somewhat rough and it appears that the faded effect is due to the silver or white undercoat showing through; as if there were an oily or watery film on the can when the green and red was applied that prevented it from adhering evenly. In any case, the white, silver, and metallic gold are all intact. This is one of only two examples of this can we have had in 25 years. Top has been replaced with a correctly matched lid.
