Condition/Comments: 28”w x 39”h. This is simply a gorgeous pre-Pro litho in top-notch condition featuring an interior pub or beer house scene with Victorian era characters in period clothing, stained glass windows and very ornate architectural details. The only anomaly we can find is a slight ripple through the first E in Rochester that is only visible on very close inspection. The piece is in all original condition with no signs of restoration. We are unsure if the frame is original, though it certainly appears to be period correct. The matt and backing have been replaced. The frame is missing some of its filigree detail in its decorative border and has a small chip missing from the bottom left corner. There is also sign of moisture damage to the wood on the left side. We did not remove the piece from the frame for full inspection but, as the photos attest, there is no visible damage to the areas that are in view.
