Condition/Comments: This image is applied beneath the glaze prior to firing rather than applied on top after firing. Beautiful imprint of a bustling factory scene. Condition is excellent, with the following notes: there is a small piece of metal embedded in the glaze toward the left end of the brewery building; most of the small spots on the right side are surface dirt that can be removed; the surface has typical mild crazing and the left side shows some small stains; a small piece of glaze is missing from the inner rim. Very nice, intricately designed piece! 3-1/2 diameter x 4 h x 5 w with handle. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
