Condition/Comments: About 2 3/4 x 1 5/8 inches. Circa 1900. Extremely rare, possibly UNIQUE, highly detailed match and stamp safe. Barrel top piece swings up for storing stamps and body bottom slides out for matches. This is the ONLY example of this piece of which we are aware. It's incredible that it retains most of its original finish and all embossing and etching are strong. All original. See brightly lit photos.
