Condition/Comments: Very rare first label produced by American Can Co. from about 1938. Note that this first version does not contain BREWED AND CANNED BY above the mandatory at bottom. This example is in great condition, with bold colors and smooth finish. There are a couple of dings at 11 o-clock and scattered tiny nicks here and there. The bright silver on the rims and lids is solder, as it appears this can was once part of some type of assemblage. All original and rated R9 in the USBCOI! See brightly lit photos.
