Condition/Comments: This tray appears gold but we believe it is the well-known silver version that has yellowed as a result of having been exposed for a prolonged period of time to cigarette smoke. Areas on the back have been scoured to expose silver paint, and white paint beneath that. Additionally, the white highlights on the words Hampden Ale-Beer that should be white are also yellowed. Aside from the yellowing, condition is excellent. A lightly scoured area can be seen to the right of the barrel that also hints at the silver. Otherwise, the surface shows only minor blemishes and there is minimal wear even on the rim edge. 13-inch diameter. From the Cushman family collection. All original.
