Business Name: James Hanley Company and Providence Brewing Co., Providence, AlabamaManufacturer/Plant: UnknownDate of manufacture: VariousCondition/Comments: Lot is made up of two lucky penny charms, one from James Hanley with a 1953 wheat back penny bearing a Denver mint mark, the other pre-Pro from Providence Brewing with a 1916 wheat back penny. The Hanley piece is in outstanding condition with virtually no sign of wear to either the soft aluminum holder or the penny. The Providence piece is considerably more worn due to its age. The penny is not seated more toward the front than the center so the obverse of the coin is worn much more than the reverse. The coin also looks like it is slightly bent. 1-3/8 w x 1-5/8 h and 1-7/8 diameter, respectively. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
