Condition/Comments: Very rare test or spec design. We have only seen a couple of these, all rolled. Being from a transitional period, it's possible this can could have been intended as a flat top or as a pull tab. Note the vertical stripe pattern rather than the dots used in the background of the similar production cans. This example has outstanding paint and finish. Though there are a few small marks there is no humidity or fade. Ripples are present around the copyright info and there are dings at the bottom left opposite the seam and below GANSETT!.
