Condition/Comments: Note that this example is from American Can Co. Can has numerous blemishes as shown in photos. Those that may not be evident include a 1-1/2-inch horizontal slice through the metal along the bottom of one side, about 1/4-inch above the rim, and a few small canning dings; a smaller cut below the A of REGAL at the bottom and a half-dozen small dings at the bottom of the opposite side; metallic gold that has evenly darkened with tarnish (not a dark enamel finish); fade to the blue (original blue shade can still be seen near the mandatory). The lids, rims, and seam have all had oxidation removed. And, the can may have a clear coat as it is far too shiny for its overall condition. With all that disclosed, it sounds worse than it is - the can displays pretty well and is very solid. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
