Reference: USBC 143-6, OI 848
Business Name: Adam Scheidt Brewing Co., Norristown, Pennsylvania
Manufacturer/Plant: American Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1940s
Canning Code: n/a
Contents/Type: 12 oz
Condition/Comments: USBC 143-6 OI 848. Rare bock OI! Even though this is the newest/latest variant of the Bock OI label that dates to the late 1940s, it is very scarce, having been assigned an R9/R7 rarity rating by USBCOI. It lists three patent numbers. This is a former Stark collection can with a super clean appearance all around. Humidity-free. The only noteworthy marks are those where the top layers of paint have worn through to expose the yellow base coat. The entire can has been coated with a clear varnish or shellac, with some streaking, variations, and minor yellowing visible. Can still displays very well and is smooth as glass. Only a couple of small canning dings along the bottom rim that may not show well. Great can! All items are original unless otherwise noted.
