Walter Brewing Co 1940s Factory Scene Serving Tray

Condition/Comments: There are a couple versions of this tough 1940s tray: one with cars in the street and people walking alongside the buildings, and wispy smoke coming from the chimney. It is cream colored rather than white and the shadow areas are much less dark than on this version. This example is very clean and is an unusual find in this condition. Paint is crazed as shown an indication that this may be a Universal or Electro-Chemical piece. It may be difficult to see in the photos but there are indents in the paint of the sky area that look like bubble wrap impressions that formed over an extended storage time. Otherwise, there are no notable blemishes - even the back is outstanding. 13-1/4 w x 10-1/2 h. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
