Condition/Comments: 4-1/4” diameter. Stock image #33 from the American Art Works portfolio adorns this scarce Ohio tray. The bespectacled smoking dog appears on a number of other brewers’ trays of the period and all are considered very scarce or rare. If you are considering assembling a subset of them, there is no better place to start than with this one. The condition is very nice: there are some light white marks just to the right of center and scattered elsewhere, and a little wear to the gold lettering, but the colors are vibrant and warm, the finish shiny. A great looking illustrative tray.
