Comments/description: This version of the Old Export Lucky Guy statue features an inserted steel rod for the fishing rod, and a rounded white base on which he stands, indicating it is an earlier release. Later versions had the rod molded into the form itself and usually incorporate a square base, among other changes to the fish and figure as well. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Paint is crazed and crackled but there are only a few small flakes off the paint and a small chip or two. Bottle is detached but can be easily re-secured without difficulty or obvious evidence of doing so. There is an unusual vertical red line to the left of LUCKY GUY that may not be original. As if intended to read instead 1 (i.e, ONE) LUCKY GUY. It is not raised/molded as the other letters are. Note the state may be generic, intended for any mini bottle.
