Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. One of two early salesman sample sheets we are offering from American Fine Art Co., this one features an assortment of label designs from brewers, beverage bottlers, and a lard producer. Brewers are Hamms, National Griesedieck, Toledo Brewing & Malting, and Tennessee Brewing. Used to showcase the printing abilities to potential clients. These labels are printed directly onto a single sheet. They are not individual labels that have been adhered to a separate backing sheet. Condition is outstanding, with every detail tack-sharp and gorgeous color. White of the sheet is slightly toned but otherwise very clean. Beautiful example of this lost art.
