Comments/description: Outstanding example of this early label, the very first from Ballantine. Dates to late 1935 and is PATENT Pending. R9 in this condition. The only marks are some darkened hairline scratches and others that still show bare metal. A few light canning dings and dimples. A great looking can in so many respects.
