Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. This Breidts conetop was found in France in the Peira-Cava barracks in the Maritime Alps, near the Italian border; the barracks were used by American troops in 1944. The can originally wore one of the more transparent, almost metallic olive drab paints/lacquers as visible on the left side. The rest of the can has evenly tarnished and appears darken and opaque. The imprint is more difficult to see on these darker portions as the contrast is greatly reduced, but all of the details and text can be made out. As-found original condition. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.

Cans may have minor canning and handling dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Please review photos carefully for these subtle indents. Larger dings that do not show and those in other locations will be noted in the item description.
