Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. This sign appears to be a hand-drawn/colored artist illustration of either a concept-proposal piece or the actual artwork intended for use in production. It shows a beaming gnome hurrying off with a bottle of 1930s Bruton Beer. Condition is very good to excellent, with some scratching and a crease through the beanie. Other blemishes are light staining and running of the red paint, a small tear/missing piece of the applied label artwork above the hand of the gnome or leprechaun, and some signs of light moisture staining. Artist signed by renowned illustrator Conrad Dickel, whose more complex original works and paintings frequently sell for many thousands of dollars. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
