Comments/description: Early 1940s wartime sign features a graphically illustrated baseball player in action leaving the batters box having just made contact. Accompanied by the text A HIT! EVERYWHERE. The blue V for victory in the background is accompanied by the Morse code for the letter V, dot dot dot dash, below BEER. Constructed of 1/4-inch plywood veneer on front and back, the printed surface has a stained finish with a gentle sheen. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Sign is in very good to excellent condition. Some scratching as shown and a little chipping at the bottom corners. Bottom left is slightly curved. The veneer on the back is slightly separated while the front is still very well adhered with no gaps.
