Comments/description: Image #121 from the American Art Works stock catalog titled JEANNETTE. Jeannettes wild, untamed hair is blended wonderfully with the background texture and the pattern on her dress, making the image all the more painterly. Is it to imply a look of carefree independence or intentionally styled that way? There is moderate wear and aging, heaviest around the base of the rim. Smaller marks on the face are less noticeable and do not disrupt the presentation as they blend well with the textures of the image. There are 4 tiny dimples on the background, a soft 1-1/2-inch crease on her face, and an edge kink at 9-o-clock that do not show in the photos. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
