Comments/description: NOTE: Proceeds from this lot will be donated to the ABA Museum Library.  Rare pre-Prohibition brewery serving tray featuring a charming stable scene by noted animal artist Henry Stull. Three eager terriers gather at the stall door as a mare and foal look on, creating one of the more appealing animal-themed images used in early brewery advertising.

This attractive tray combines rich lithography, strong graphics, and outstanding display appeal. Advertising from this brewery surfaces infrequently compared to many larger New England breweries, adding to its desirability. An increasingly difficult-to-find Massachusetts tray with strong crossover appeal to breweriana, canine, equestrian, and advertising collectors.
