Comments/description: Rare tray depicts stock portrait #3 ROSALIND from the HD Beach catalog. Painted by Asti (perhaps best known in the hobby for the portrait of the woman shown on Feigenspan tray variants), it is of a lovely presumably Gypsy woman with a red flower in her hair. However, note the complete lack of jewelry and the crop that shows none of her attire. Untitled on the tray itself, ROSALIND is the title of the original Asti painting. Face of tray is excellent, with only light surface rings visible in her hair. The rim edge has wear but not to the point of distraction. Slight rim edge bend at about 1-o-clock.
