Brewer/Business Name: Cremo Brewing Co., New Britain, Connecticut
Manufacturer/Plant: Universal Tray and Sign Co., New York, NY
Date of manufacture: circa 1930s
Contents/Type: n/a
Dimensions: 12 inches.
Comments/description: Pretty tough tray and very difficult to find with such uniformly dark blue. This design - and many others from Universal from this period - are notorious for heavy crazing of the paint due merely to age as has happened to this example. However, this is often accompanied by fade/lightening of the pigment as the paint degrades. Not the case here. This tray is deep blue and all the other colors are vivid as new. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
