Brewer/Business Name: Dawsons Brewery Inc., New Bedford, Massachusetts
Manufacturer/Plant: American Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1960s
USBC reference: 53-22 Contents/Type: 12 oz
Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h.
Comments/description: Lighter gauge steel and toothed seam indicate a later issue, likely the 1960s (despite the 1956 copyright), as construction is similar to that of the zip top version. Pretty clean for this mostly-metallic label. The only scruffiness occurs near the bottom rim while the rest of the label is pristine. Displays great. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
