Comments/description: Scarce OD can. Whole can is surprisingly clean though there are bright scratches that are quite evident. We say surprisingly because most surviving ODs exhibit a lot of humidity and because this can has holes in the back through which the contents escaped and has associated heavier corrosion along the bottom rim from this leakage. The rest of the can still has a shine and nice contrast, making the label easy to read. Even the spout is clean. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Condition

Fine scratches at the rims appear to be an attempt to clean some of the oxidation or to remove wax buildup; they are not signs of lid replacement. A strong example of this elusive wartime label. Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
