Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. This design features a steinie bottle in the center of the tray. A similar design is available that features a long-neck bottle instead of a steinie. Like the similar steinie design where the bottle is positioned to the left, the orange on this tray is very prone to fade - which makes this example notable. Color and shine are excellent and the tray looks like it could be NOS. Its primary compromise is some moderate-to-heavy crazing throughout, merely the result of age and a well-documented shortcoming of certain Electro-Chemical and Universal trays of the period. These marks can be seen in the photos within the black. Still an excellent display. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
