Comments/description: This lot contains 2 silk banner variations advertising Genesee 12 Horse Ale - one stating THE BETTER THE MALT THE BETTER THE BREW, the other BEER AND ALE ROCHESTER around the logo at the top. The third item is a 4-1/4-inch Dickens Ale coaster. The coaster was produced by Syracuse Brewery, its Dickens brand later produced by Genesee. Coaster is very high grade, about near mint, as is the BEER AND ALE version of the banner. Shimmering red, and bright yellow/gold trim. Just a few very minor stain spots. The other banner shows more wear/age, with harsh fade along the spine and on the reverse, and overall light fade even to the darker red and the yellow.
