Comments/description: An exceptional example of this sign. Very difficult to find with all aspects in such fine form: no fade to the insert of the Connoisseur; no lifting of the purple background; no moisture or darkening of the metallic gold letters. In short, this is one of the finest we have encountered and it would be very difficult to ever upgrade. The only quibbles would be a few areas where the gold cardboard backing has rubbed against the white and purple to scratch/rub off portions. This occurs exclusively at lettered areas; the vast purple background still looks great. Display is outstanding. A little flaking of the gold on the bottom border of the frame but no significant evident wear. Sweet! All items are original unless otherwise noted.
