Comments/description: Prohibition era crate is marked with HARVARD CO., not BREWING CO., the name the brewery operated under during Prohibition. The crate is stamped with a manufacturer production date of 1924 on the inside. May have held bottles of Ginger Ale, Root Beer, or one of the very low or no alcohol malt or cereal beverages the brewer produced during Prohibition. There are slots cut into the sides to accommodate dividers but none are present. The original lid tether is still attached. Nicely constructed and well preserved with a big, bold script logo on each of the log sides and a red flag seal on each end. These are a little more difficult to see due to darkening of the wood and some likely fade to the red ink. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
