Brewer/Business Name: Jameson Bottling Works, Holyoke, Massachusetts
Manufacturer/Plant: Unknown
Date of manufacture: circa 1930s
Contents/Type: N/A

Comments/description: Only the bottler is listed in on this label and research has failed to unearth the brewer linked to Mass Permit 204, though Springfield or Hampden is likely. Castle in the hills background no doubt references the Scottish Highlands, as the bottler was located near towns with large Scottish and Irish populations. The name could also have been a post-Repeal attempt to revive interest in brands from the Highland Brewing Co. that merged to form Springfield Breweries Assoc. before Prohibition and who maintained their Highland Branch into the 1930s, brewing Hampden Ale and Beer. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.

Condition

Color on main label is a little washed out although the graphics are still clear. Other marks and tears as shown. Neck is largely intact. We are aware of no better example of this bottle.
