Comments/description: This can is scarce in its own right; what adds extra intrigue is that it looks to be painted over an olive drab label. Several worn areas, including the two most blatant larger one on the side, reveal dark green paint rather than silver (or rust). In addition, the rim and bottom also appear to be olive colored. We have no idea what the label beneath may be, or if it is even a beer label, but definitely adds a layer of interest. At face value the Hudepohl label presents well despite some wear on its lower half. Both side panels and the reverse have moderate spidering that has only emerged in a few places as discoloring oxidation. Perhaps the extra layer of the additional label added some protection to prevent this. No notable dings or kinks. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
