Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. The face of this design shows a server delivering a tray full of tankards to three gentleman in a tavern or hotel courtyard. The men are dressed in their finest, including riding gloves, top hats, spatz, boutonnieres, and canes. The tray still shines despite some surface crazing and light oxidation. These are not apparent when viewed straight-on so the piece displays very well. A bit more aging and wear is evident on the rim. Very nice for this tough tray.
