Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. Wild colors and stark graphic design grace this 1930s tray. Two men of the cloth test out the fruits of their labor in the beer cellar of the monastery. They appear quite satisfied! Condition of the tray is somewhat masked by the vivid illustration and busy typography which nicely hides scratching, nicks, and dull crazed areas of the finish. Some areas appear to be clear coated (top of the pillar and on the logo). Aging is more evident in the black of the rim. Displays nicely. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
