Comments/description: USBC 89-22, ACTUAL OI 456. We believe this is THE BEST example of this rare can. This is the worlds FIRST production ale can. Note the 429 stamped on the side. The first 500 cans off the line were numbered, certain numbers would be redeemed for a free toaster. Test marketed in Virginia starting in January, 1935. Air sealed. Near perfect. For the most selective collector, one of the greatest gems in the beer can hobby. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
