Comments/description: Very cool effect emanates from this sign which is printed on textured silver foil laminated onto a cardboard backing. The texture makes the image look as if painted on canvas, while the metallic of the foil is allowed to show through on the silvery can, really making it stand out against the organically rendered background. The 1936 calendar pad is intact. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.

Condition

There is some loss along the edges where the foil has lifted and chipped away, but there is only one area missing in the central image, that below the N of TANKARD at the top. A few areas in the center near the figures show wear that allows some silver to show through where it should not, and there is one small wear hole on the window. Top 20% or so is wrinkled more than the remainder of the piece.
