Comments/description: This case once held 12 Pickwick Ale quart cone tops that were shipped empty to the recipient for his intended use of constructing lamps from them. This is indicated by the sticker on the side: CANS - LAMP and written: CANS EMPTY. Most or many of the on-grade examples of this quart that are around today originated from this find decades ago. Condition is good, with significant wear and darkening as shown, while all of the text remains legible and the brand is clear. There is some light pencil writing on one panel in addition to the writing/sticker mentioned above. Great history! All items are original unless otherwise noted.
