Comments/description: Rare gray enamel issue! At the time of USBCOI publication there were no on-grade examples known and the book can was listed as the best. This one appears to be just shy, or perhaps on par, with the book can. No question it displays very well and is evenly aged all around, hiding nothing. R6 in off-grade condition only. Condition
In addition to the marks shown, there are a few small canning dings and a rippled area on the lower right side from which a dent has been removed. Fine shine remains and there is a lot of clean surface left on the lids and seam. Nice!
