Comments/description: Rare tray with remarkable color and freshness. The paint is applied thickly and has an orange peel texture distinct to New York Importing Co. trays, especially on the inner rim. As bright, clean, and vivid as can be! The Roman god Mercury stands on the globe, hoisting a goblet of fine Quandt brew with a caduceus in the other - implying the fast-healing healthful benefits of Quandt Beer. If not for kinks at the edge at 10- and between 11- and 12-o-clock that cause the upper left quadrant to bulge, this piece would be minty. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
