Comments/description: Rare indoor example of this very elusive flat top quart. The nicest we have seen and the first we have offered at auction. While not on-grade, its flaws are relatively limited and some are nicely masked by the brown woodgrain color and pattern when on display - though our photos do capture them all very well except for a ding above CONTENTS and 3-4 others on the right side. The can is all original in spite of what the gear marks at the top rim imply. While an attempt was made to open the can with a rotary opener, the rim was too deep for the cutting blade to reach so the original lid remains, with its EXTRA DRY woodgrain vanity imprint clearly visible.
