Brewer/Business Name: Jacob Ruppert, New York, New York
Manufacturer/Plant: American Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1940s
USBC reference: 126-7 Contents/Type: 12 oz
Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h.
Comments/description: Earlier woodgrain Ruppert design tend to fly under the radar somewhat as there are so many similar-looking variations. They are difficult to find in truly high grade. This example is a beauty, with a factory-original shine and fresh surface. The only blemishes to the label are a few small nicks. It does have some minor canning dings and the church key has left an indent where hooked under the rim and an outdent where the point hit the side of the can. Clean hardware with a bit of patina on the top lid. Nice. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
