Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. Unusual and scarce pricing sign from renowned Boston-based food and restaurant services purveyor which, during their long history offered general groceries and foodstuffs, beverages, wines, beer, liquor, restaurant supplies, and more to New England establishments. This sign promotes their own blended whiskey Number 6, and includes an adjustable pricing wheel. It does not state whether the price is for a glass or bottle, nor of what size. The wheel is taped fixed to display the 25-cent price but would normally be movable to display different numbers as needed. Sign is in excellent condition with some minor blemishes and still has a nice factory sheen. The price disc is darkened/soiled. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
