Brewer/Business Name: Jos. Schlitz Brewing Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Manufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1970s
USBC reference: 166-19 Contents/Type: 16 oz
Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 6-1/4 h.
Comments/description: This can has a Milwaukee mandatory and 1970 copyright date. It has been lidded top and bottom with featureless aluminum lids that bear no advertising, vanity markings, contours, or Softop branding. Possibly re-lidded as it is even a touch shorter than standard flat top height and 1/3 of a rim shorter than contemporaneous pull tabs. Can is minty and looks fabulous in-hand and on the shelf. Not embossed. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
