Brewer/Business Name: Jos. Schlitz Brewing Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Manufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1960s
USBC reference: 166-15 Contents/Type: 16 oz
Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 6-1/4 h.
Comments/description: Note the Milwaukee origin and 1968 copyright date. Very cool embossed variant. The stylized bull logos on each side have the only notable signs of humidity, likely from bare metal that was exposed when the high points of the embossing were rubbed and worn. That in the lower portion blends perfectly with the rough textured illustration style. Other marks in the white are very minor. A pair of dings to the right of the seam do not show in the photos All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
