Comments/description: One of a series of humorous fishing-themed signs illustrated by well-known artist Hy (Henry) Hintermeister that feature the same main character and group of fishing buddies. This scene shows the star character standing by a fire attempting to dry his waders and boots, apparently having slipped and fallen to have them fill with water. His cohorts are sneakily snapping a picture to be sure he never forgets. Nice CV cone in the foreground at left. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Exhibits some light oxidation at lower right with the rest of the face very clean. Oxidation and dings to the borders. Displays very well.
