Comments/description: One of a series of humorous fishing-themed signs illustrated by well-known artist Hy (Henry) Hintermeister that feature the same main character and group of fishing buddies. This scene shows the befuddled fly fisherman trying to get his line untangled from a tree while his pal mockingly points to the trout leaping in the stream, as if taunting. Excellent condition and color. The only area of concern is at the top right where there is some oxidation visible on the beveled edge. Some other light edge wear. There are NO notable kinks or dings. Unusual for a sign of this size and vintage.
