Comments/description: Beautiful scenery depicted on this label of a ship voyaging past a deep mountain ravine, snow-capped peaks in the distance beyond the greenery of the lowlands. The ship is the Whanganella and it is permanently berthed in the harbour and is being used for a floating hotel for long term accommodation for the staff who are building a hydro electric dam at Deep Cove. Exhibits humidity in the silver bands and the center portion of the can is rippled all around from dent repair. Air sealed with a new top lid. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
