Reference: USBC 60-15, OI 239
Business Name: Esslingers Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Manufacturer/Plant: American Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1930s
Canning Code: n/a
Contents/Type: 12 oz
Condition/Comments: USBC 60-15 OI 239. Very rare early design features the large KEGLINED logo on the side panel. No patent info. This is a late 1935 issue and carries a single R10 rarity rating according to USBCOI. However, we are aware of one better example. The top lid has likely been replaced as such an early can would have had an unbeaded lid on both the top and bottom. Other than a few tiny canning dings condition is shown well in the photos. The surface still shines and the can displays well. Only a couple of these out there in any condition and this may be the best! This version does not carry the NY Distributor info by the mandatory. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
