Comments/description: USBC 68-17 OI 324. 3 patents, 68A D canning code. Pretty tough with this code, coming in at R7 in USBCOI. Late 1940s variation. Can is spectacularly clean without a trace of spotting. A few tiny nicks may have slightly darkened. The copper color is lush and warm, the shine as it left the factory. Blazing bright hardware too. Not evident in photos are some small dings and dimples on the lower left side near the opener hole. Other tiny dings are on the front on the G of GENESEE and above the wagon drivers.
